The trekToes RS is equipped with a robust rip-stop upper material and is a multi-terrain light hiking shoe. Its great advantage is an optimal combination of comfort, breathability and protection as well as exceptional grip in terrain up to the lower mountain ranges. The innovative outsole was developed in close cooperation with Soles by Michelin. The 10mm EVA midsole with zero heel drop offers the perfect fusion of cushioning, flexibility and direct ground feel.

The WR finish of the trekToes RS, ensures that the upper material does not absorb water by imitating the "lotus flower effect" but lets it roll off in drop form. The upper material is nevertheless lightweight and remains breathable. The "lotus blossom effect" gets weaker over time due to wear and tear - the good news is that it can easily be refreshed (e.g. with the PowerProtector). Important to know! A WR impregnation is not "waterproof", but only "water repellent". To have dry feet even in heavy or continuous rain, a membrane is needed to make the shoe "waterproof".

Tip from our customer service: Walking through wet grass is like walking through heavy rain and a WR finish cannot withstand the water indefinitely.

Tip:
Using the trail sole on asphalt and concrete increases the wear and tear and thereby reduces the longevity of the sole. If you have never worn zero heel shoes before, start with shorter routes first.
