Big Toe Education
toefreedom®
A foot whose toes have adapted to the shape of conventional running shoes over the years loses its free mobility and tends to overpronate during the propulsion phase of running. The body has to compensate for this in other places. This affects the movement patterns in the ankle, knee and hip and can lead to the most common pain patterns of runners.
Biomechanical Lab
In a study at the Progressive Sports Technologies Institute, the Addict Pro-R showed a 13% longer flight time at the same speed compared to a conventional running shoe, equating to 1,000 fewer steps over the marathon distance – runners “flew” an extra kilometer.
Education
Regaining and maintaining natural foot function is deeply rooted in our Joe Nimble philosophy. Toefreedom® plays the central role, but not the only one: another important component are exercises that promote the regaining of natural structure and muscular functionality of the foot.
