Made from super-soft silicone, our newly developed Big Toe Spacer optimizes foot mobility and prevents damage caused by shoes with narrow toe boxes. The spacers increase the mobility of the big toe and support natural foot alignment and stability when worn for just 10 minutes a day. This promotes foot positioning for better joint support and can reduce plantar fasciitis, bunions and other foot conditions. Foot exercises with the Toe Spacers can positively influence the process. 

This new version adjusts itself to your foot size and wears itself after just a few minutes without you noticing. 

How to use your Joe Nimble Big Toe Spacer! 

The Big Toe Spacer is inserted with the tip first between the big toe and the second toe. After a few runs and getting your muscles used to it, you can optionally use the spacer the other way round and work a little more progressively. This stretches the big toe and returns it to its natural structure and position. This can counteract the 'runner's hallux' in order to utilize the full power potential of the big toe in the propulsion phase.

You can wear the Big Toe Spacer in everyday life in your Joe Nimble shoes with toefreedom® or do specific exercises with it to specifically promote the structure and function of your big toe. You will achieve the best results in everyday life when your foot is under load - i.e. when you are on foot. The effect is negligible when you are sitting or lying down. 

Depending on how severe your 'runner's hallux' is, you may only need to wear the Big Toe Spacer for up to half an hour at first. Get used to the feeling slowly and don't overdo it. If you experience discomfort in your foot or toes while wearing the Big Toe Spacer, simply take it off again and give your feet a break. You can't change a structural change that has developed gradually over the years overnight...

Überraschend bequem

Da ich ohnehin ein paar Mountain Addict bestellen wollte, habe ich die Spacer gleich mit bestellt. Beim Auspacken war ich erst etwas skeptisch. Es ist sehr weiches Material und ich hoffe inständig, dass es für 10 Euro eine ganze Weile hält. Der Tragekomfort ist wunderbar. Ich habe früher schon ähnliche probiert, die nach kurzer Zeit drückten und die Zehe einschnürten. Diese hier spürt man kaum, ob mit oder ohne Schuh, und nichts drückt oder schnürt, auch wenn man sie mehrere Stunden trägt. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
