Find your shoe size with Footprint

Footprint is exactly what you and we have been waiting for: an AI-supported foot measurement with your smartphone to determine your correct size!

What you should know beforehand

We want to make buying shoes easier for you and give you the certainty of buying the right size. This saves you and us returns and you can start walking straight away.

Shoes sometimes vary in production. We therefore measure all new models meticulously on delivery and enter the measurements in a table that serves as the basis for the size recommendation for the new footprint measurement. We therefore recommend that you repeat the measurement for each new model and order the recommended size.

This is how it works

When you store with us using your smartphone or tablet, tap on “Scan and find your size” on the product page. Footprint will then open instructions that allow you to easily take the measurement using your smartphone camera. Follow the instructions and measure both feet.

If you are shopping via a computer, a QR code will be displayed. Open your smartphone camera and scan the QR code. Most smartphones can do this automatically and then guide you through the measurement process as described above. The measured data is automatically transferred to the store.

Trying on

In the following videos, we show you how to try on the shoes and what is important.

Our shoes offer a very comfortable toe box and therefore also a large toe box, while the shoe has a normal cut on the last and heel and is not extra wide. So it would be wrong to say that a Joe Nimble shoe is built for people with wide feet. In many cases, however, our shoes are still much more suitable for people with wide feet than classic shoes.

Putting on your shoes

Sebastian explains how you should ideally try on your new shoes and take the first steps to assess how they feel when you run.

It's best to try the shoes on in the evening or after a run of a few hundred meters, as your feet are always a little bigger then. Wear the socks that you will be running in.

Size and fit

Joe Nimble shoes offer sufficient space thanks to their wide toe box. Unlike conventional running shoes, it is therefore not necessary to make extra room.

When trying on your shoes, make sure that they do not pinch or are too tightly laced. A thumb's width between the toes and the tip of the shoe is ideal.

Your foot is held by the instep and heel, while the toes have plenty of room. Don't worry, you'll get used to it very quickly.
