Whether you are on a multi-day hiking tour or on the direct path to the summit: with the mid-cut wanderToes 2.0 you will experience the benefits of toefreedom^® when hiking, with every step you take. The soft leather upper wraps your foot like a second skin, and the extra room for your toes combined with the grippy sole from Soles by Michelin, gives you sure-footedness on the trails and in the low mountain ranges. The integrated dust flap protects the foot from the penetration of small stones and dirt.

Tip: After approx. 500 km, the Addict footbed may start to wear out and should be replaced with a new one. Whether this is the case after 500 km or after 800 km depends on your individual situation. Please follow your own “gut-feeling”.

Tip: If you have never worn zero heel hiking shoes before, start with shorter routes first. The use of the trail sole on asphalt and concrete increases the wear and tear and thereby reduces the longevity of the sole.

Pippi Longstocking should had slept with them on

I wanted to keep my Wandertoes on from first try. My hallux valgus and hammer had to this day made it a kamikaze project to try out hiking boots. The Wandertoes toe-box took away the challenge of the big toe deformity and the other toes being cramped together. The whole foot sank down in the cushion sole of the footbed and only wanted to remain there.
I used my Wandertoes straight away at a 10.7 km pilgrimage, without doing the training to accustom the foot to barefoot walking. I walked the whole stretch of road with the same springiness in every step and arrived with feet in perfect physical fitness.

Glückliche Füße auf allen Strecken

Ich hab experimentell den Addict für den Alltag gekauft und weil er so gut funktionierte und ich immer Blasen und oft Schmerzen am leichten Hallux hatte, habe ich dieses Schuhe ausprobiert. Was soll ich sagen: meine Zehen reiben nicht mehr = keine Blasen mehr + mein Fuß hat vorne Platz = keine Gelenkschmerzen mehr.
Die weitaus dünnere Sohle und dadurch weniger Stabilität als der klassische Wanderschuh war erst gewöhnungsbedürftig - aber es hat sich so gelohnt. Jetzt im Winter habe ich ihn zudem "mal so" genutzt und auch auf Asphalt in der Stadt macht er meine Füße zufrieden.
