The Ultreya is a quantum leap in running shoe design and benefits from four decades of technological innovation in toefreedom®. A wider, anatomically correct toe box allows the toes to splay and perform their natural stabilizing function during the ground contact and push-off phase of running, preventing the problem of ‘overpronation’ and its associated injuries.
With its unique sole design, the Ultreya promotes a smooth and cushioned landing during the shock absorption phase and supports a stable push-off in the propulsion phase.
The innovative nmblFoam® midsole cushioning technology was especially developed for Joe Nimble by one of the leading manufacturers of polyurethanes and not only ensures high energy return but moreover continuously consistent cushioning parameters even under high and long loads.
The Ultreya weighs a little more than other, conventional running shoes and is not a running shoe for fast racing PB´s: this is due to the direct injected PU midsole made from innovative nmblFoam®. This may be a bit heavier, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do: it offers maximum comfort and ensures a comfortable training session every single time without the midsole material wearing down quickly, as is the usual case in the industry.

The special women's last with a lower instep and narrower heel but the same toefreedom® has been standard for us for years and has already proven under the toughest conditions at the Badwater Ultramarathon that our concept successfully prevents blistering.

Ich habe diesen funktionellen Schuh noch nicht lange, aber das Laufgefühl hat mich sofort überzeugt! Ich komme normalerweise aus dem Natural Running Bereich und trage sehr wenig am Fuß. Dieser Schuh macht mit seiner breiten Zehenbox & der ausgeklügelten Dämpfung aber so viel Spaß, dass man direkt längere Strecken damit absolvieren möchte. Ich finde ihn perfekt für Performance auf Asphalt & Schotter! Ps. Ich trage hier meine normale Schuhgröße :)
Ich bin begeistert! Ich trage ihn als Freizeitschuh und er ist nicht nur ein absoluter Hingucker mit den Farben sondern auch eine Wohltat für die Füße. absolutes Freiheitsgefühl von Zehenspitze bis zur Ferse. Ich liebe ihn jetzt schon!
Als erstes: Es gibt ihn nur in ganzen Größen!
Sollte ich ihn in 42(42.5) bestellen oder lieber in 43(43.5). Ich trage alle meine anderen Bär/Nimble-Schuhe in 42.5 ! Ich bestellte 42(42.5) und er passt perfekt !!
Im ersten Moment dachte ich Zehenlänge passt aber er ist so schmal/eng zu den Seiten hin geschnitten und quetscht meine Zehen zusammen. Nach nur 5 Minuten tragen hat sich das neue Mimikri-stoff-gewebe meinen Füßen angepasst sich alle Bedenken in Luft aufgelöst.
In diesem Schuh läuft (geht) es sich so klasse wie in noch keinem anderen Nimble toes zuvor ! Und er das tolle Tragegefühl von Addict und Co kennt weiß was das bedeutet !
Ich bin super happy, dass ich mich für den Ultreya entschieden habe !! Jeder Schritt ist Freude pur ! Ihr müsst mir nichts glauben. Probiert ihnen einfach selber aus. Meine Erfahrungen bisher sind in seiner Nutzung als daily Freizeit Schuh ! Ein Grund für mich den Ultreya mal auszuprobieren war das neue Sohlen Material und Design, nachdem die Michelin Sohlen des Tail Addict nur mäßige Haltbarkeit aufweisen … Ich hoffe ja die Gummimischung wird noch ein bisschen angepasst in Richtung Langlebigkeit …
Ich bin richtig glücklich mit meinen Ultreya !
Die Schuhe machen Laufen so viel Spaß. Mit der Zehnfreiheit und gute Dämpfung kann ich immer weiter laufen.
Ich bin absolut begeistert! Dies ist mein erstes Paar Joe Nimble Schuhe und bestimmt nicht mein letztes! Meine alten Laufschuhe kommen jetzt nicht mehr in Frage. Ich trage 36,5-37, aber bei Ultreya passt mir eine 38.
Ich habe vor diesem Paar Laufschuhe bereits einen anderen Schuh von dieser Firma. Die Verarbeitung und das angenehme Laufgefühl sind sehr in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Der Laufschuh macht auch optisch was her. Nur leider ist dieser nicht für meine Füße gemacht. Beim Laufen entwickeln sich auf jeder Seite im Spannbereich Blasen. Im Übergang von der Innensohle zum Schuhmaterial. Da die Sohle fest verklebt ist, möchte ich diese auch nicht entfernen. Jetzt nutze ich den Schuh für den Sport (Krafttraining) und nicht zu, Lauftraining. Hierfür muss ich mir leider einen anderen Laufschuh erwerben. Da ich aber sonst von der Marke angetan bin, möchte ich eine positive Bewertung abgeben, da hier mein Fuß einfach nicht zum Schuh passt.
Hallo Kirsten, vielen Dank für Deine Bewertung. Es tut uns leid, dass der Schuh nichts für Deine Füße ist. Hast du schon mal eine andere Größe ausprobiert? Die Innensohle ist nicht fest verklebt und kann ausgetauscht werden. Wir bieten auch alternative Fussbetten an.
Ich habe die Ultreyas, wie beschrieben, in meiner normalen Schuhgröße gekauft (Gr. 38). Aber messen wäre besser gewesen. Bei einem kurzen Probelauf habe ich bereits gemerkt, dass ich mit dem großen Zeh vorne anstoße. Im Sommer wird das dann sicher noch etwas knapper. Das erste Tragegefühl war aber bereits super. Die Rücklieferung hat reibungslos geklappt. Heute direkt ein neues Paar in Gr. 39 bestellt! Ich freue mich schon auf meinen ersten Lauf mit meinen neuen Ultreyas.
